HOLY FUCK it has been a great week for music. The torrent gods have decided to reward us for our dutiful worship and have bestowed upon us some serious gems, the least of which is an absolutely brilliant compilation that Gui Barrato did for Systematic Records entitled My Love is Systematic Volume 1. Systematic is one of the best labels out there, hands down, featuring work by John Dahlbeck, Black Baxter, Dusty Kid and Marc Romboy, among many others. The tracks included on this compilation are phenomenal. I’m giving you guys a delightful holiday treat from Stephan Bodzin. This gem is forward marching dark, techy disco house journey. It makes me want to exist solely in a smoke filled basement with a single red lightbulb dangling from the ceiling and a really great subwoofer.
