While initially ‘eh’ about this track, further listening has proved I was too quick to judge and that the hype surrounding it is legit. I am really into this endless tribal drum style and euphoric, melodic break. Brings to mind some stuff by Dreamy favorite Gui Boratto. While not necessarily standing out as a prime time killer, this jawn definitely has a lot of power and could really be magic with a spiritual OG house ‘pella dropped on top. Not to give away all of my good ideas at once or anything. I like the Dean Newton remix for its inescapable big room presence and the original for a more vibey, minimal feel. What do you think?
